Layers of Life
I took a picture of myself and layered three other images that I took, layered them onto the original photo, then adjusted the transparency levels on the images to get a double exposure. This photo shows the State Theatre as the background to represent my love of films, a picture of my cat to show my love for the animals in my life, and a cool window because... Well I liked the window. The color shined through it perfectly which I loved and the design of it really attracted me to it. All of these images are all added together to represent some things I like. The title seemed very appropriate for the picture, seeing as the photo is made up of pictures that represent things I like.
Double Me
This is my double exposure picture. The layers are a picture of me and a picture of my backyard that I took as the sun was setting. I thought that this looked very very cool, the picture of my backyard and the way the double exposure worked. I used to spend a lot of time in my backyard as a smaller child, which is why i chose it. I also represents how much time I spend outdoors whether it be for crew or on my own time. I like how it looks like my face is a part of the sky and how the rest of the selfie portion of the picture is not very visible.
